Coty - Fragrances
As the Project Manager at Positive Design, I supported Coty Inc. across Singapore and Malaysia travel retail markets. I specialize in retail fit-outs and visual merchandising execution, managing the end-to-end delivery of beauty counters at Shilla Duty Free in Singapore Changi Airport.
I have successfully delivered 15+ counters while concurrently managing over 10 projects, ensuring on-time completion within highly regulated airport environments. My role encompasses conceptual project scheduling, vendor coordination, and navigating complex permit processes while adhering to strict fire safety protocols.
Working across brands including Burberry, Gucci, Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Kylie Cosmetics, and Hugo Boss, I execute and adapt visual merchandising guidelines and planograms across regional markets.
I lead VM execution while supporting permanent counter developments, and manage maintenance works and quotations to sustain retail operations.
By implementing structured scheduling and project tracking using Excel, Monday.com, and ClickUp,
I improved project turnaround time by 15%, enhancing efficiency while maintaining alignment with stakeholders and brand standards.
SK-II - Facial Essence
For SK-II, I supported both permanent counter builds and promotional “2nd site” high-profile placements across travel retail and department store environments, including Shilla Duty Free and Takashimaya. I delivered a total of 6 projects, comprising 3 full-store renovations and 3 promotional installations.
My role focused on execution and coordination, including permit submissions, project scheduling, design validation, site inspections, and defect management. I worked closely with regional stakeholders from Procter & Gamble to ensure alignment with SK-II’s global standards.
These projects required working with premium materials and technical elements such as LED screens and media players, glass fixtures, tester units, and precise lighting calibration. SK-II maintains highly stringent design guidelines (“the bible”), with strict requirements on tester base dimensions, lighting temperature, ventilation placement, and finishing details. I ensured full compliance while managing tight timelines and operational constraints.
All projects were successfully launched across three terminals at Singapore Changi Airport, delivering high-quality retail environments that meet the brand’s luxury positioning and operational standards.
